My name is Megan Hallman and I’m a Senior at Texas Tech University. I’m a double major in Finance and Accounting. In order to fulfill my graduation requirements this semester I had to take Engl 3365 – Professional Report Writing. This blog is a how-to survival guide for Dr. Fricke’s Class.
This blog will help future students know what to expect and how to effectively prepare for Dr. Fricke’s class. This class was not an easy one as it was very time consuming. As you can expect from title of the class there is intensive writing involved in the class. You must plan ahead in order to succeed. If you are taking an intense course load already, I would suggest not adding this class to it.
This blog is designed for easy to find and quick reading. To the right of this post, there are category links to help you find specific areas that you are looking for. They are broken up into assignments, interview, and helpful tips.
- Assignments: This is where my physical assignments are posted. I included my grade, what I learned from the assignment, and some helpful tips for succeeding with the assignment.
- Interview: As part of the assignment, we were asked to interview a professional in our potential field. My results from my interview are posted there.
- Helpful Tips: This where I will give my opinion on things I did to help my succeed in the class. I will also include things I should’ve done to increase my success.
